Pastor James E. Shannon preaches from Psalm 34:1-8 on the theme “Taste This”. 8 Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. http://pcc-online.org/2019/07/23/taste-this/ If you would like to make a donation to support our ministries you may do so here: http://pcc-online.org/2019/07/23/taste-this/
Pastor James E. Shannon preaches from Luke 6:8-12 on the theme “Walking Wounded to Wounded Healers”. 8 But Jesus knew what they were thinking and said to the man with the shriveled hand, “Get up and stand in front of everyone.” So he got up and stood there. 9 Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you, which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?” 10 He looked around at them all, and then said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He did so, and his hand was completely restored. 11 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law were furious and began to discuss with one another what they might do to Jesus. The Twelve Apostles 12 One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. http://pcc-online.org/2019/07/23/walking-wounded-to-wounded-healers/ If you would like to make a donation to support our ministries you may do so here: http://pcc-online.org/2019/07/23/walking-wounded-to-wounded-healers/
Pastor James E. Shannon preaches from 2 Corinthians 4:7-12 on the theme “Encourage Yourself”. 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. 12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you. VBS 2019 Update: The time has change to 4-7. Saturday July 20 from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm
This week, we are asking our members to work in having PATIENCE. Job is one of many prophets in the Old Testament that never lost his faith. No matter what the devil threw at him, he continued to trust in God‘s plan. Though it may feel at times like things are never working in your favor here on earth, remember to never major in minor problems. Your rewards may not come right away, because your ultimate award awaits in heaven. Stay blessed!
Yesterday at PCC, we acknowledged our high school, college, graduate school and law school graduates. Congratulations to the Class of 2019, and may God continue to bless you along your journeys!
This week we want our family and friends to focus on James 5:1-6. In these versus, God is explaining to us that the rich will reap what they sow if they misuse the money God has given them for selfish reasons, and not to uplift God and His people. So, we encourage you to use your riches for God’s glory! There is no Bible Study this week, so we will see you next week when we continue breaking down this chapter. Have a happy holiday, and be blessed!

Please visit us online if you would like to learn more about our church, this ministry or make a donation! www.pcc-online.org/give

Pastor James E. Shannon preaches from Romans 8:14-17 on the theme “From Bondage to Freedom”. 14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.[a] And by him we cry, “Abba,[b] Father.”16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
