This week, we are asking our members to work in having PATIENCE. Job is one of many prophets in the Old Testament that never lost his faith. No matter what the devil threw at him, he continued to trust in God‘s plan. Though it may feel at times like things are never working in your favor here on earth, remember to never major in minor problems. Your rewards may not come right away, because your ultimate award awaits in heaven. Stay blessed!

Yesterday at PCC, we acknowledged our high school, college, graduate school and law school graduates. Congratulations to the Class of 2019, and may God continue to bless you along your journeys!

This week we want our family and friends to focus on James 5:1-6. In these versus, God is explaining to us that the rich will reap what they sow if they misuse the money God has given them for selfish reasons, and not to uplift God and His people. So, we encourage you to use your riches for God’s glory! There is no Bible Study this week, so we will see you next week when we continue breaking down this chapter. June 29, 2019, Peoples Community Church hosted it’s annual 3 Mile Walk for the Homeless. The PCC Homeless Ministry focuses on raising funds to help the church remain a day-site for the growing homeless population in DuPage County. It is currently the only day-site in the area where people can come shower, eat, watch TV, get clothing, get a haircut and stay indoors without being asked to leave. This Saturday August 4th Sis. Loretta Barnett and Sis. Janice Curry will be at the Church from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm to make tickets available to anyone who has not had a chance to give their $40 donation.
